Narrativas maestras : memoria colectiva e historia escolar

Abstract

El autor señala que los estudiantes aprenden en la escuela contenidos históricos disciplinares, pero también aprenden narrativas maestras. Es decir, cánones fundacionales que sostienen la creación de sus países de forma cuasi mítica, ontológica y esencialista. Por esta razón, el artículo sostiene que es necesario analizar con detalle cuáles son las características de dichas narrativas, ya que constituyen el centro de lo que a un ciudadano le queda en su mente después de sus años de escolarización.
