Un estudio neuropsicológico del trastorno de aprendizaje de la lectura

Abstract

Se realiza un estudio sobre una muestra total de 80 sujetos de entre 7 y 11 años de edad, estudiantes de centros públicos y privados de la Comunidad de Madrid, distribuidos en un grupo control de 50 sujetos normolectores y un grupo experimental de 30 sujetos diagnosticados como disléxicos, a los que se les administró la Batería Neuropsicológica Infantil DNI (Manga y Ramos, 1991). Se ve, pues, en un intento de explicar las proyecciones conductuales de las disfunciones cerebrales mínimas hipotetizadas por Luria y corroboradas por múltiples estudios (Galaburda et al., 1973), si existen diferencias neuropsicológicas significativas en los sujetos disléxicos con respecto a sujetos que pueden aprender a leer normalmente y, sí estas existen, de qué tipo son y con qué profundidad se manifiestan, con objeto de poder echar luz a la posible rehabilitación de estas dificultades que en muchos casos están detrás de la mayoría de casos de fracaso escolar.
