La Asociación para la Enseñanza de la Mujer : una iniciativa reformista de Fernando de Castro (1870-1936)

Abstract

La Asociación para la Enseñanza de la Mujer fue una iniciativa reformista que surgió en 1870 de la mano de Fernando de Castro. Evolucionó aquélla gracias a la colaboración de los institucionalistas, con el objetivo de potenciar la educación femenina en España. La trayectoria de la Asociación, desde 1870 hasta 1920, ya ha sido expuesta en algunos estudios. No así su última etapa. Por este motivo, después de señalar algunas de las características de la Asociación durante los primeros años de existencia (1870-1920), se pretende dar a conocer las escuelas y los planes de estudio que se mantuvieron en los años siguientes hasta la llegada de la Guerra Civil (1920-1936).
