Las inteligencias múltiples presentes en la Educación Física en el medio natural

Abstract

Se aborda un estudio sobre la Teoría de las Inteligencias Múltiples desarrollada por Howard Gardner (1983). Para ello, se realiza un análisis de la palabra inteligencia, de su significado a través de la historia y como ha ido evolucionando con el paso del tiempo. A parte de las inteligencias múltiples, se hace mención a la inteligencia emocional, aspecto que Goleman (1995) desarrolló apoyándose de los trabajos que realizó Gardner. Por último, se expone como la teoría de las inteligencias múltiples se ha instaurado en las aulas y las aportaciones que han hecho los protagonistas en estas prácticas. A su vez, se desarrolla un proyecto de intervención en un aula de Educación Primaria, en el cual se trabajan las diferentes inteligencias múltiples de Howard Gardner en el área de Educación Física realizada en el medio natural, de tal manera que las inteligencias naturalista y cinestésica corporal sean la base del resto de inteligencias. Este proyecto va dirigido para el alumnado de 5º y 6º de Educación Primaria, aunque con la introducción de alguna variante puede llevarse a cabo con alumnado de cursos inferiores.
