Las Necesidades Educativas Especiales en Asturias : prevalencia e inclusión educativa

Abstract

El artículo 71 de la Ley Orgánica 2/2006 de Educación, modificada por la Ley Orgánica 8/2013 para la Mejora de la Calidad Educativa (LOMCE), hace referencia a todo el alumnado que requiera una atención educativa diferente a la ordinaria por presentar necesidades educativas especiales (NEE), dificultades específicas de aprendizaje, trastorno por déficit de atención e hiperactividad, altas capacidades intelectuales, condiciones personales y/o de historia escolar o bien por haberse incorporado tarde al sistema educativo. Con este informe se persigue: Identificar el número y porcentaje de alumnado con NEE en Asturias. Describir la prevalencia y distribución de las NEE en función del género, la tipología y la titularidad del centro de escolarización. Comparar las tasas de prevalencia de las NEE de Asturias con las disponibles a nivel nacional; y, finalmente, presentar las líneas de trabajo que se están proponiendo para favorecer la inclusión educativa en el Principado de Asturias.
