Abstract

Se recogen los resultados de una investigación llevada a cabo con el fin de dar a conocer, con algún detalle, las características de los fondos de las veinte primeras bibliotecas populares, que constituyeron en 1869 la avanzadilla del ambicioso proyecto político-cultural de Manuel Ruiz Zorrilla.
