Abstract

La hipótesis general de la investigación queda formulada de la siguiente manera: 'Las actitudes de los alumnos de quinto curso de EGB hacia la lectura se encuentran relacionados significativamente con variables personales, familiares, escolares y ambientales'. 895 alumnos de quinto curso de EGB de Sant Feliu de Llobregat (Barcelona). Se establecen las variables. Variable dependiente: las actitudes del niño de quinto de EGB hacia la lectura; variables independientes y variables intervinientes: personales, familiares, escolares y ambientales. Se efectúa un control de variables para distinguir entre las independientes y las intervinientes. Se consideran unas fuentes de error: variables intervinientes no controladas, imperfecciones de los instrumentos de medida, factores imprevistos, otras influencias no detectadas. La investigación estudia la influencia de las variables independientes e intervinientes sobre las actitudes del niño hacia la lectura. Cuestionarios ad hoc sobre: datos generales de la familia, la escuela y el ambiente; la opinión general dirigido al alumnado; la opinión de las librerías de la localidad; el ambiente lector dirigido a las familias. Entrevistas dirigidas a los maestros de quinto curso. Inventarios ad hoc de actitudes hacia la lectura (4). Batería de actitudes generales y diferenciales. Recopilación de datos generales de la biblioteca. El tratamiento estadístico se desarrolla a partir de las siguientes pruebas: estadística descriptiva; construcción del test y justificación estadística; normalidad, asociación y correlación; contraste; análisis discriminante; análisis factorial; análisis de contenido. Se cumple la hipótesis general. Se considera que las actitudes hacia la lectura se podrían llegar a conocer, en un futuro, gracias a la recogida de datos, sobre todo de tipo sociolingüístico, batería de inteligencia general, primer inventario sobre lectura (datos generales), segundo inventario sobre lectura (análisis de actitudes).
