Inteligencia emocional y percepción del clima del aula en alumnos de Secundaria

Abstract

Se pretende determinar la relación entre la inteligencia emocional de un grupo de alumnos y el clima social del aula. La inteligencia emocional hace referencia a un conjunto de factores “no cognitivos” que van a influir a la hora de adaptarse al medio y alcanzar el éxito en la vida. Estos factores tienen que ver con la comprensión y regulación de las emociones propias y ajenas, que posibilitan establecer relaciones sociales satisfactorias. Por su parte, el clima social de aula constituye las percepciones que tienen los agentes educativos (entre ellos los alumnos) de la organización del aula y de las interacciones que se establecen en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. El estudio empírico realizado parece apuntar a una relación entre la inteligencia emocional de los alumnos y una percepción positiva del clima del aula.
