Avaliação externa de escolas : liderança e resultados escolares : que relação?

Abstract

En Portugal, entre los años 2006-2011, la Inspección General de Educación desarrolló un programa de evaluación del centro de enseñanza. En ese período se evaluaron 1107 colegios. La evaluación de cada escuela se llevó a cabo por un equipo constituido por dos inspectores y un especialista. Para cada una de ellas el equipo de evaluación elaboró un informe. A la hora de evaluar cada escuela se tomó como base un modelo que tuvo en cuenta cinco dominios (Resultados, Prestación del servicio educativo, Organización y gestión escolar, Liderazgo y capacidad de autorregulación, y Mejora de la escuela). La evaluación de cada dominio corresponde a la percepción que cada equipo tuvo de la realidad observada. Con base en la clasificación asignada a cada escuela en los campos de Liderazgo y Resultados, se verificó si en las 287 escuelas evaluadas en 2008-2009, la clasificación atribuida en esos ámbitos presentaba correlación. De esta forma, los datos obtenidos indican que la calidad del liderazgo desempeña un papel preponderante en los resultados educativos, corroborando otras investigaciones.
