Competencia matemática y alfabetización informacional

Abstract

La falta de tiempo y/o materias con un currículum extenso en contenidos teóricos no ayudan al docente que tiene que dejar en el olvido muchas veces competencias básicas. Igual que los docentes se apoyan en los libros de texto, debería existir un manual que les ayudase a intercalar las competencias con los propios contenidos de la materia. Por ello se elabora unas prácticas que generan en el alumnado la necesidad de buscar relación entre los estudiado y la realidad a través del tratamiento de la información. Se busca que se valore lo aprendido en clase y su utilidad, sin pensar que las matemáticas son contenidos abstractos sin utilidad práctica. Es interesante, a su vez, establecer los criterios de evaluación antes de comenzar el curso, teniendo en cuenta no solo los contenidos de la materia, sino también los valores, actitudes y la adquisición de las competencias. Se pretende hacer una reflexión sobre los criterios de calificación y cómo se tienen en cuenta las competencias a la hora de calificar a un alumno.
