Abstract

Se presenta una visión general de la implementación del Programa Transito que se lleva a cabo en el CEIP Concepción Rodríguez Artiles y el IES de referencia, Puerto del Carmen, justificado por la necesidad de erradicar el abandono escolar en una franja que abarca de 5º de Primaria a 2º de ESO. Como iniciativa, se apuesta por la docencia compartida en estos niveles, con una metodología y una evaluación que aúnen Primaria y Secundaria, haciendo que el tránsito entre las dos etapas sea lo menos traumático posible. Se plantea trabajar por proyectos educativos trimestrales, con temáticas adaptadas al currículo de cada etapa y materia, además de establecer unas rúbricas compartidas entre ambos centros, para la corrección del proceso y el producto final de cada proyecto. Para acercar al alumnado al centro de referencia opuesto al que ellos cursan y a las familias, se estipulan visitas trimestrales donde se comparte el proyecto realizado por cada centro. El CEIP optó por trabajar el proyecto “Pesas y medidas” que como producto final se tradujo en un museo donde el alumnado explica los datos recabados en las investigaciones realizadas. Por el otro lado, el centro de Secundaria optó por la temática del “Universo” presentando un Sistema Solar a escala, las constelaciones que se pueden visualizar en cada estación y su relación con la mitología.
