Estrategias para la mejora y adaptación de programas instructivos

Abstract

Una tendencia cada vez más arraigada en el campo de la educación es la inclusión de los alumnos con necesidades educativas especiales en las aulas ordinarias. Esta tendencia se basa en el supuesto de que el aula ordinaria es el lugar idóneo para la educación de la mayoría de los estudiantes, tanto de los más como de los menos capaces, por su poder para potenciar su desarrollo personal, académico y social. Los recientes cambios demográficos en la población escolar han hecho aumentar, por otro lado, el número de estudiantes con riesgo de fracaso escolar, con lo que la diversidad y heterogeneidad en las aulas se ha convertido en la norma, más que en la excepción. Este estado de cosas, se ha ido extendiendo progresivamente hacia niveles superiores de enseñanza, en la medida en que ésta se ha ido generalizando.
