Abstract

El objetivo de la situación de aprendizaje es que el alumnado aprenda que el azar y la probabilidad están presentes en la práctica totalidad de juegos y en muchas de las actividades que realizamos a diario. Se acerca a la idea de probabilidad como posibilidad, primero desde los juegos de dos opciones y después desde otro tipo de juegos. El alumnado de 4º puede llegar a establecer la probabilidad de un suceso como la relación entre los casos satisfactorios y los casos posibles. Partiremos de experiencias de azar con sucesos equiprobables e introduciremos, después, experimentos que no lo son. También se reflexiona sobre los aspectos negativos de los juegos de azar. Los juegos siempre tienen un lugar privilegiado en el contexto escolar. Son potentes y motivadores como recurso para el trabajo en el área de matemáticas. Esta investigación permite iniciar al alumnado en la recogida y tratamiento de la información, como necesidad para la reflexión sobre el grado de posibilidad de que ocurra un suceso. Así, puede situarse en diversos momentos del curso escolar y vincularse a diversos proyectos.
