Nuestra mascota viajera

Abstract

Se pretende que el alumnado conozca lugares y costumbres de sitios que resulten de interés, ya sean los países de origen de los niños y niñas de la clase o los de sus familiares, sirviendo también lugares que se hayan visitado. Se propone un juego simbólico basado en una “mascota viajera”. La mascota viaja durante las semanas de los protagonistas y con ayuda de las familias, el alumnado trae información sobre esos lugares. El último viaje será hacia donde se encuentra ubicado el centro y se trabaja coincidiendo con la semana del Día de Canarias. Se ha elegido esta situación de aprendizaje porque la familia constituye un espacio muy cercano al alumnado, rico en experiencias, que le proporciona la posibilidad de relacionarse con los demás, adquirir nuevos conceptos y aprender, valorando el contexto que le rodea. Uno de los grandes objetivos es el de “Educar en el respeto de los derechos y libertades y en la no discriminación por razón de sexo, religión, raza o cultura”. Se hace necesario que desde el centro se responda a estas diferencias, estrechando los lazos, y para ello es imprescindible un acercamiento, una convivencia, ya que sólo se valora lo que se conoce.
