Formación y profesionalización de orientadores : modelos y procesos

Abstract

Se centra en diferentes aspectos del desarrollo profesional de los orientadores. A partir de una breve reseña histórica sobre la formación de orientadores en EEUU se aborda el tema de los modelos de formación utilizados y se analizan algunas clasificaciones y modelos: tradicional, competencial, reflexivo, humanístico, sistémico, de counseling, etc. Seguidamente se plantea el siempre problemático tema del diseño del curriculum formativo de los especialistas en orientación. Se plantea un proyecto de desarrollo profesional de orientadores escolares que abarca fundamentalmente el marco orientador y un programa de desenvolvimiento profesional en que se contempla su diseño, realización y evaluación. Finalmente se alude a la supervisión y el asesoramiento de los orientadores en ejercicio como proceso de apoyo externo indispensable para el éxito de cualquier programa de desarrollo profesional.
