Proyecto “Queridos abuelos”

Abstract

Durante varios cursos escolares se ha llevado a cabo el Proyecto “Queridos Abuelos”, con el que se ha pretendido rescatar el legado cultural (historia, costumbres, experiencias y vivencias) de los abuelos del alumnado del centro, a través de la exposición de los objetos que usaban, como fotografías, cartas, redacciones…, de la impartición de charlas en el aula, de su participación en la radio del centro, del desarrollo de talleres de oficios hoy olvidados (latoneros, alfareros, etc.) o de talleres de juguetes tradicionales con objetos reciclados como latas de aceite, chapas, cañas, etc. Alumnos y abuelos son los protagonistas singulares de este proyecto enfocados en la concienciación en valores como el respeto, solidaridad, diálogo, resiliencia y empatía. Además, se ha trabajado en coordinación con el departamento de inglés, con actividades de inmersión lingüística, entre otras. Todo esto culmina cada curso con la exposición que se muestra en la Semana Cultural del IES Cabrera Pinto, dedicada el curso anterior a la escuelita del pasado y a las antiguas maestras. De este modo, se prepara a los alumnos para que hagan de guías de la exposición y enseñen al resto del alumnado todo su contenido.
