Elogio de la permeabilidad

Abstract

La escuela tiene que estar conectada a la realidad para preparar a los alumnos de una forma eficaz para la vida. La permeabilidad es el fenómeno que permite que un flujo atraviese un material sin llegar a alterar su estructura interna, de forma que la permeabilidad aplicada a la escuela hace que ésta reciba el fluido de las aportaciones que vienen desde el exterior y permite, así mismo, que la escuela busque y se enriquezca educativamente de su entorno, aprendiendo y actualizándose de forma continua. Las exigencias necesarias para la permeabilidad son: que la escuela tenga autonomía; que exista un verdadero equipo de trabajo con objetivos comunes; que las plantillas docentes se configuren en torno a proyectos específicos; que dicha plantilla tenga vocación de permanencia y estabilidad en el tiempo; que el equipo directivo del centro educativo dinamice la experiencia mediante la promoción, impulso y dinamización; que el centro cuente con profesionales capacitados, bien formados, inquietos, innovadores y optimistas; que el centro sea una institución que aprende del influjo que recibe del exterior y que dicha institución se autocrítica y abierta a la crítica.
