Cultura alemana bajo el nazismo

Abstract

Se habla sobre la cultura alemana bajo el nazismo. El florecimiento y desarrollo de la intelectualidad alemana entre el fin de la Primera Guerra Mundial y el ascenso del nazismo al poder, periodo enmarcado entre los años 1919 y 1933, es sin lugar a dudas una de las expresiones más vitales de la cultura europea del siglo XX. La cultura alemana consiguió conjuntar en su seno una relevancia de gran nivel en todos los ámbitos. Pero desde el ascenso de Hitler al poder en 1933 hasta el final de la guerra en 1945, prácticamente toda la intelectualidad alemana, bien por sus convicciones morales o políticas, bien por sus orígenes judíos, fue sin paliativos reprimida, silenciada, lanzada al exilio o exterminada.
