Criterios para valorar materiales curriculares : una propuesta de elaboración referida al rendimiento escolar

Abstract

Los materiales curriculares constituyen uno de los factores determinantes de la práctica educativa, puesto que son instrumentos básicos de la organización de las tareas escolares; en cuanto son un referente usual en el que los alumnos apoyan gran parte del aprendizaje escolar, a la vez que facilitan la práctica docente de los profesores. No obstante, para que los materiales curriculares ayuden en el aprendizaje deben cumplir una serie de requisitos. El artículo contiene criterios y procedimientos de análisis y valoración de los materiales curriculares desde dos consideraciones básicas: la disposición de los contenidos que posibilita a los alumnos percibir las ideas principales, a través de las características de la estructura, contribuyendo a la mejor comprensión; y la manera que la disposición ayuda también al profesor en la elaboración de las programaciones de aula.
