Abstract

Recordando la existencia y la utilidad del esperanto se enumeran los posibles escenarios de convivencia entre las lenguas de la Unión Europea. El número de lenguas nacionales oficiales en Europa se ha multiplicado durante el último siglo y medio con la constitución de nuevos estados, presentando una imagen mucho más diversa y menos monolítica que la de hace cuarenta años, a pesar de que la situación lingüística está muy lejos de ser igualitaria.
