La noción de modo verbal en alumnos de secundaria obligatoria : concepciones y obstáculos

Abstract

Se exponen parte de los resultados de una investigación que analiza el concepto de modo verbal que han construido estudiantes de la educación secundaria obligatoria (alumnos de entre 12 a 16 años) y se analiza el papel que adopta la actividad metalingüística en la conceptualización de las nociones gramaticales. El estudio se centra en cómo los estudiantes reflexionan sobre algunas características del modo verbal a partir del contraste entre oraciones y analiza los obstáculos con los que se encuentran. Los resultados muestran, por un lado, que los estudiantes no se habían apropiado de la noción modo verbal, sino que la integran en una categoría gramatical más amplia: 'el tiempo verbal'. Por otro lado, la tarea de reflexión en voz alta aparece como una forma que posibilita una intensa actividad metalingüística en torno a la selección modal
