Sin libros de texto : dos miradas

Abstract

La búsqueda de un nuevo modelo metodológico acorde a las necesidades educativas del siglo XXI y la generalización de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) parecen cuestionar la vigencia de los actuales libros de texto. Sin embargo encontrar alternativas fiables es un camino que no se promete fácil de transitar y suscita un debate abierto en el mundo educativo. En la provincia de Sevilla, dos institutos, el Ítaca y el Chaves Nogales, han abanderado sendas iniciativas pedagógicas en las que se prescinde de los libros de texto en papel y se apuesta por alternativas metodológicas en sintonía con los nuevos retos educativos.
