Abstract

Las tecnologías de la información, la comunicación y la imagen conforman la infraestructura y dimensión estructural de la cibercultura, entendida como un nuevo escenario de prácticas sociales, de relaciones de poder, de redes tecnosociales de interacción y de coordinación de acciones, pero también de mercado unificador de información, de conocimientos y de sensibilidades. Se hace un análisis del capitalismo contemporáneo como modelo de producción dominante que encuentra el principal recurso productivo en las cualidades comunicativas y cognoscitivas de humanos y máquinas. Esta condición desafía el concepto de cultura y los modos de producirla, de socializar y de apropiarse de ellos para la integración a los procesos de valorización económica y, plantea la necesidad de crear otros marcos conceptuales, nuevas metáforas para comprender el actual escenario conflictivo y complejo donde perviven y se incluyen diferentes modos de producción, tiempo culturales y sociales
