Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio trata-se do trabalho para a finalização do mestrado em Psicologia Clínica e de Aconselhamento e para a obtenção do grau académico de Mestre pela Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. O estágio decorreu entre outubro de 2022 e junho de 2023, numa Associação que visa defender os direitos dos Cuidadores Informais a nível nacional. Neste sentido, o estágio realizado pretendeu fornecer apoio psicológico a esta população. Este permitiu um maior contacto com a profissão em estudo, bem como uma maior aprendizagem e evolução profissional e pessoal, possibilitando pôr em prática os conhecimentos teóricos lecionados na Universidade. Este relatório pretende abordar as principais problemáticas dos Cuidadores Informais e as intervenções realizadas com esta população, ao longo do estágio. No enquadramento teórico abordam-se temáticas como as consequências da tarefa de cuidar, a demência como sendo a patologia mais comum das pessoas de quem cuidam e as patologias consequentes da sobrecarga de cuidar, o burnout e a depressão. Aborda-se também a pertinência e benefícios do apoio psicológico para a presente população-alvo, bem como as características do acompanhamento online. Na componente prática do relatório, descreve-se o trabalho desenvolvido na instituição de estágio, nomeadamente a apresentação e análise de dois casos clínicos. Por fim, é apresentada uma conclusão e reflexão pessoal acerca do estágio realizado. São nomeados alguns pontos positivos e menos positivos durante o decorrer do estágio, bem como uma análise e reflexão pessoal das aprendizagens realizadas.
