Abstract

A presente dissertação possui a finalidade de verificar e analisar os pormenores fundamentais acerca do Tribunal do Júri, principalmente no que diz respeito a imparcialidade e subjetividade na decisão dos jurados, com o foco no Júri brasileiro e no Júri português, buscando compreender as divergências e semelhanças entre o procedimento deste instituto nos países retratados; procurando também examinar as Constituições brasileira e portuguesa, bem como as competências e composições de cada um, incluindo um breve capítulo sobre a influência da mídia nesta instituição. Utilizando-se da metodologia da pesquisa descritiva e bibliográfica para a elaboração deste trabalho.
