Aquecimento global: estratégias de estabilização

Abstract

Os efeitos do aquecimento global são variados, claros e visíveis. Para além dos impactes mais facilmente perceptíveis no sistema meteorológico e, consequentemente, nos ecossistemas, determinam igualmente impactes importantes na economia e na saúde humana. Face a esta realidade, duas estratégias são necessárias: tomar medidas conducentes à estabilização ou inversão das tendências referidas; avaliar os riscos associados e definir medidas de adaptação às alterações climáticas e respectivos impactes.
