Atmospheric aerosols are mostly measured near ground. Vertical measurements are usually either shortterm using various types of flights or long-term using remote sensing that cannot directly assess aerosol chemical composition. To overcome this lack of knowledge, measurement at tall tower can be used. One of them (250 m) was set-up at National Atmospheric Observatory Košetice (NAOK) in Czechia.
