Hydrolates are substances that are increasingly finding their way onto the market as ingredients in natural cosmetics. They are in great demand in certified bio-cosmetics if they are prepared from herbs produced in an organic regime. A team of Czech experts is now testing how to use waste raw materials from herbal biomass for this purpose and their results so far give an interesting perspective.
