The article focuses on a relatively comprehensive part of telemedicine, namely on its typical private law aspects. First, the legal regulation of telemedicine in Act No. 372/2011 Coll., on Health Services and Conditions of Their Provision, as amended, will be shortly discussed. Subsequently, the impact of telemedicine on the treatment contract will be analyzed, i.e. in particular issues related to its remote conclusion, the proper patient information and informed consent, due professional care (standard of care) including the thereto related duty to provide compensation for harm, and the determination of the applicable law (lex causae) in legal relationships with an international element when providing telemedicine services cross-border.\n
