The aim of this study was to assess copper uptake of radish (Raphanus sativus) and to test the capability of DGT to predict phytoavailability of the metals for this plant. Radish was grown in pots filled with control-uncontaminated and artificially contaminated soils differing by copper content. Copper concentrations in plant measured after mineralization procedure using apparatus APION were compared with soil metal concentrations obtained by common leaching procedures 2M HNO3 a 0,1M NaNO3, and free ion metal concentrations in soil pore water, and effective concentration measured by DGT.
