Abstract

Ice accretion is prevented by ultrasound wave indroduction into to the heat exchanging components of a cooled structure that come in touch with ambient atmosphere. Ultrasound signal time and amplitude behaviour is optimized based on monitoring local physical conditions of ice accretion.
