Abstract

Esta tese ten como obxecto de estudo o coñecemento metapragmático dos/as galegos/as respecto do funcionamento da cortesía lingüística a partir da selección das estratexias lingüísticas utilizadas na codificación da competencia pragmática en lingua galega. A través de cuestionarios de hábitos lingüísticos achegámonos, por un lado, ao que os/as falantes galegos/as pensan sobre a cortesía, a ¿boa educación¿, o respecto e o seu estilo comunicativo; e por outro, ao xeito de resolver situacións nas que o/a falante poida/queira realizar (ou non) un acto directivo. En concreto, abordamos catro actos de fala directivos que combinan o dereito do/a falante para ¿poder¿ realizar o acto e o beneficiario/a deste. O obxectivo principal é coñecer mellor a imaxe (como ethos pre-discursivo) e as expectativas de comportamento comúns dos/das falantes galegos/as (e axudar a encontrar estratexias para descubrir se soben ou baixan as escaleiras).
