Mobilna biblioteka akademicka jako centrum zarządzania wiedzą

Abstract

The aim of this ar ticle is to deter mine the position of an academic library in the contemporary social and economic network with particular focus on the challenge to construct so called knowledge society. The aspect of library mobility in the area of services related to electronic sources of information as well as the librarian perceived as the knowledge employee has been discussed herein. The mobility of librarians has been presented in the three following areas: the mobility within different fields of knowledge which the librarians should possess, the mobility of employees within an institution and the mobility of the librarians among institutions, thus demonstrating new tendencies in the profession.

Celem artykułu jest określenie miejsca biblioteki akademickiej we współczesnej sieci społeczno-gospodarczej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wyzwań związanych z budowaniem społeczeństwa wiedzy. Omówiono aspekt mobilności biblioteki w zakresie usług związanych z elektronicznymi źródłami informacji oraz postać bibliotekarza jako pracownika wiedzy. Mobilność bibliotekarzy ukazano na trzech płaszczyznach: mobilność w zakresie różnych obszarów wiedzy jakimi powinni dysponować, mobilność pracowników w obrębie instytucji oraz mobilność bibliotekarzy pomiędzy instytucjami, wykazując tym nowe tendencje w specyfice zawodu.
