Abstract

En esta tesis se presentan los resultados de la fotometría B, V, I y Halfa de una muestra de once pares de galaxias en fusión menor. Se determinaron la magnitud total y los colores integrados para cada galaxia. Se construyeron los perfiles de luminosidad y se les ajustaron las componentes bulbo y disco. Se identificaron las regiones de formacion estelar y se midieron los parametros tales como posicion, tamano, edades, colores integrados, luminosidad y anchos equivalentes. Se investigó la naturaleza de las regiones de formación estelar y se compararon con las propiedades de las Galaxias Enanas Tidales disponibles en la literatura.
