Propuesta para un modelo curricular flexible

Abstract

Es evidente, dada la crisis del sistema de enseñanza superior, que los programas de formación profesional, en lo general, no responden de manera suficiente a las demandas sociales. Prueba de ello son sus constantes modificaciones. En esencia, tales modificaciones relativas al diseño curricular buscan vincularse a los procesos de modernización, generando nuevas políticas de planeación y organización académica e introduciendo modificaciones relevantes en la significación misma de la preparación profesional. Políticas y cambios que se orientan a lograr una mayor proyección nacional e internacional de planes y programa, y a formar profesionales e investigadores con creatividad y capacidad para plantear y resolver problemas de acuerdo con las nuevas realidades de las demandas social y educativa. En este marco, el presente trabajo define ciertas características de la demanda curricular propias a las nuevas necesidades de formación, aborda determinados aspectos del diseño y práctica curricular y propone un modelo flexible que posibilite el diseño y la reestructuración de planes de estudio que permitan la formación interdisciplinaria, el autoaprendizaje, la corresponsabilidad en las acciones y toma decisiones, el crecimiento de acuerdo con las necesidades contextuales, estrechar el vínculo universidad-sociedad y diversificar las opciones en la formación profesional.
