Esta dissertação centra-se no estudo do lugar de Bemposta, concelho de Mogadouro, distrito de Bragança, inserida no Parque Natural do Douro Internacional (PNDI) que contém um rico e diverso património geológico e natural. Para o reconhecimento do lugar foi recolhida informação de revistas, artigos cientícos e obras literárias, assim como uma visita ao local para o reconhecimento do lugar. Feita a análise da informação percebemos que em Bemposta existe um forte carácter vernacular, grande parte da população é envelhecida e vericamos um déce de serviços de apoio à população. Procurámos então compreender as características e aspectos singulares que distinguem este lugar de modo a desenvolver uma estratégia que visa a valorização do património existente, procurando contribuir para a dinamização da aldeia, atraindo população, residente e turística. Procura-se uma intervenção à escala do território, convergindo na recuperação e reconversão de alguns edifícios do núcleo da aldeia. O projecto de arquitectura procura a reconversão de um edifício para habitação temporária para turismo rural com o intuito de despertar o turismo na região, proporcionando a dinamização da economia local e o combate à deserticação. Apesar de ser um ponto forte, a arquitectura vernacular presente na aldeia, mostra-se frágil no que toca ao seu estado de conservação, deste modo, escolhemos obras de referência cuja suas preocupações passaram pela recuperação de edifícios, o que nos ajudou a dar resposta às questões da recuperação e da reconversão. Abstract: This dissertation focus up on the study of Bemposta’s place, county of Magadouro, district of Bragança, which is inserted in Douro Natural Park, that have a geological and natural patrimony very rich and diverse. For the recognition of the Bemposta’s place, was made a collection of information from magazines, scientic articles, books and visits at the place. After make an information analysis realized that in Bemposta there a strong vernacular character, that most of the population is aged and has a lack in population’s service support. We tried to understand all of characteristics and unique aspects that distinguish this place in order to develop a strategy for the valuation of existing patrimony, trying to contribute to the revitalization of the village and attracting resident population and tourists. Search for an intervention at the level of the territory, witch converge in the recovery and reconversion of some buildings in the village’s heart. The architectural project seeks for a conversion of a building for temporary housing for rural tourism with the tourism wake-up order in the region, providing the stimulation of the local economy and combating desertication. Even the vernacular architecture present in the village seems to be the strongest point, the stage of conservation proves to be fragile. we also choose reference works where their concerns have gone through building recovery, which has helped us to address the issues of recovery and reconversion.
