Modularidade sustentável : da Escandinávia para Algosinho

Abstract

Abstract: The theme of the dissertation focuses on the revitalization of rural areas, specifically in the creation of buildings proposal by introducing a rural reality concepts of sustainable interventions. The concept of low tech industrialization, coupled with the standardization and modularity with the inclusion of indigenous materials. Scandinavia architecture was the motto for research. Its main features, its architectural movements, emphasizing three key moments: Neoclassicism, Modernism and Functionalism and Minimalism. And while considering the determinants and framing this architecture, namely, the Protestant Reformation, the Industrial Revolution and the impact of the World Wars. To the issue of construction of standardized architecture stressed the contribution of Le Corbusier, Ernest Neufert and CIAM group. The case studies presented highlight the general lines that are intended to implement in the final proposal. The proposed case study tends to demonstrate how you can create a proposal for a modular matrix feasible in Portuguese context, and able to combine the concept of low tech industrialization, coupled with the standardization and modularity.
