Arquitectura pré-escolar

Abstract

Abstract: To perceive the relationship between the pre-school building and child development, particularly in terms of cognition of the newest, is the main objective of this paper work. Keeping up this purpose we toke a deep approach to the pedagogical and psychological theories of children education throughout the years. From a theoretical point of view, and after the collection and analysis of vast literature been made, we came out with the statement that there is little doubt about the importance of buildings themselves have in the cognitive development of children and in their future capacity to learn and to come to make young people and adults responsible, but in practice it is not easy to find schools adjusted to those learnings. Even our case study, which was about a Japanese school awarded by the OECD with the title of Exemplary Educational Structure showed not to be fully consistent with what the most famous researchers advocated. Throughout this work it will be possible to verify the ideological evolution of the school, analyze how it would be an ideal school from the architectural point of view and in its relation to the use for which it was intended and is also found that the practice is often little a friend from perfection.
