Intervención de la lingüística textual en la construcción de evaluaciones de tipo selección múltiple para el área de lenguaje

Abstract

Este trabajo parte de concebir la evaluación en general como un objeto lingüístico susceptible de ser explicado por medio del corpus teórico de las diversas disciplinas que estudian el lenguaje. Dado este marco conceptual, plantea la intervención de la disciplina lingüística textual en la evaluación tipo selección múltiple, pretendiendo dar claridad teórica a un género de evaluación que, al tiempo que posee el mayor impacto educativo, genera una fuerte controversia que cuestiona la validez de sus mediciones. Siendo el ítem de selección múltiple la unidad lingüística que media la interacción comunicativa de los sujetos evaluador y evaluado, y siendo el componente formal del ítem el que a su vez debe comunicar con exactitud la intención semántica del evaluador (pregunta) y del evaluado (respuesta); se tiene como hipótesis que el estudio textual explicará el funcionamiento de este mecanismo de sentido, para verificar las acusaciones de error que se le imputan a este género de evaluación, y en caso tal promover maneras que desde la reflexión textual ayuden a optimizar este instrumento de medición.
