Tato práce si klade za cíl reflektovat a ozřejmit technické obrazy produkované polygrafickým průmyslem s jeho specifiky, poodhalit mechanismy fungování a v neposlední řadě se snaží vztáhnout k tiskárně nejen jako k aparátu, ale i k instituci. Technický obraz je zde chápán jako elementární zobrazovací model, který v konečném důsedku slouží jako prostředek vizuální reprezentace a nástroj komunikace.Tiskárna tak může být i podstatou kreativní práce, která má v tomto ohledu možnost ozřejmit či determinovat způsoby čtení a v konečném důsledku má moc měnit význam a kontext informací.

This diploma thesis tries to reflect and clarify the technical images produced by the polygraphic industry with specific methods of production and try find relationship between printer as an apparatus and printer house as an institucion. The technical image is understood as an elementary imaging model, which serves as a means of visual representation and communication tool. The printer can also be the essence of creative work that has the ability to clarify or determine readings and finally has the power to change the meaning and context of information.
