Domov pro seniory

Abstract

Tepelná čerpadla budou v létě sloužit k vytápění objektu a v zimě ke chlazení.

The Master’s thesis focuses on the design of an elderly home. The objective was to create a design for a nearly zero-energy building. The proposed structure is a standalone, two-floor, non-basement building. It is designed to be barrier-free, with technical and social facilities, as well as healthcare services, located on the ground floor. The second floor accommodates residential spaces for seniors, including one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part addresses the project documentation for the building permit. The building is founded on strip footings. The vertical load-bearing walls are made of THERM ceramic blocks. The structure is insulated with an external thermal insulation system using mineral wool. The ceiling construction consists of prestressed Spiroll floor panels. The roof structure is a flat, extensive green roof. The second part focuses on building systems and energy performance assessment. The source of heating and cooling for the building is ground-source heat pumps. These heat pumps will provide heating during the winter and cooling during the summer. They will also serve as a source for domestic hot water. Mechanical ventilation is designed throughout the building to ensure adequate air exchange. Photovoltaic panels are proposed to meet the building's electricity needs and will be installed on the roof. Artificial lighting is also planned within the building. Rainwater collected from the roof will be utilized for irrigation and flushing toilets. The third part examines the life cycle assessment (LCA) of the flat green roof. Six variants of the roof composition were analyzed for their environmental impact. The composition with the least environmental impact was selected for the roof structure of the proposed senior housing facility to minimize environmental impacts and promote a more sustainable approach to construction. The following software programs were used for the thesis: Archicad, AutoCAD, Deksoft, BuildingDesign, and One Click LCA.
