Článok sa zaoberá lokalizáciou a meraním vzdialeností v experimentálnej sieti tvorenej SPOT (Small Programmable Object Technology) uzlami od firmy SUN Microsystems. Navrhované riešenie je založené na algoritme triangulácie s meraním vzdialeností na základe úrovne RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) signálu. Na konci článku sú zná-zornené namerané charakteristiky a presnosť nameranej a skutočnej vzdialenosti.
The paper presents the distance measurement in the experimental SUN SPOT (Small Programmable Object Technology) network. The proposed system is based on the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) method. Finally, the figures of measured and computed distance are shown.
