This document describes the current state of satellite communications. It focuses on their distribution based on the distance of the orbits and mutual competition and method of replenishment. It also focuses on possible connections with 5G mobile networks. Furthermore, existing projects are described and analyzed, as well as those that are still in the initial stage.

Tento dokument popisuje současný stav družicové komunikace. Zaměřuje se na jejich rozdělení na základě vzdálenosti oběžných drah a vzájemnou konkurenci a způsob doplňování. Soustředí se také na možné propojení se sítěmi páté generace (5G). Dále jsou zde popsány a~rozebrány stávající projekty, stejně tak jaky ty, které jsou ještě v~počátečním stádiu.
