Diploma thesis deals with a design of the retirement home for seniors in the town of Bučovice. The house is a three-storey building with a rectangular floor plan partly situated in the slope. In the middle of the building, there is an atrium reaching to the second floor. The construction is covered by a flat green roof. The building is designed for the permanent residence of 28 seniors, with their rooms including sanitary facilities located on the two upper floors. The operational and technical facility for both the residents and personnel, including canteen with kitchen and doctor's practice, is located on the ground floor of the house. The construction system of the building is designed as a combination of monolithic concrete and masonry. The whole house is designed as accessible.

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem domova pro seniory ve městě Bučovice. Jedná se o třípodlažní stavbu obdélníkového půdorysu částečně zasazenou do svahu. Uprostřed budovy je atrium zasahující do prvního podlaží. Stavba je zastřešena plochou vegetační střechou. Budova je navržena pro trvalý pobyt 28 seniorů, jejichž pokoje včetně sociálního zařízení se nacházejí ve dvou nadzemních podlažích. V přízemí domova je navrženo provozní a technické zázemí pro ubytované a personál, včetně jídelny s kuchyní a ordinace lékaře. Konstrukční systém stavby je kombinovaný, tj. monolitický a zděný. Celý objekt je projektován jako bezbariérový.
