Abstract

El propósito del presente trabajo es realizar un estudio práctico de un Plan de Igualdad (PI) que pueda servir de guía para empresas del sector agrario citrícola, principalmente, así como para aquellas personas que se hallen en la necesidad de elaborar el citado PI. El estudio se ha llevado a cabo en el seno de una empresa dedicada a la comercialización de fruta, perteneciente al sector citrícola, ubicada en la provincia de Valencia. Donde se ha efectuado una evaluación de su situación, una vez realizado el informe diagnóstico previo. El resultado obtenido ha sido útil para la definición y propuesta de las acciones correctoras, sobre aquellas desviaciones detectadas en materia de igualdad. La exposición, ante la dirección de la empresa, de la necesidad de poner en práctica un PI ha servido, para hacer ver la importancia de fomentar la cultura empresarial en el marco de la igualdad de género, de la no discriminación y del cuidado de la utilización de un lenguaje no sexista. Así como de elaborar procedimientos adecuados de actuación y prevención del acoso sexual y del acoso por razón de sexo, más allá del simple cumplimiento de una imposición legal. Además, de dar respuesta a por qué resulta de gran interés para la entidad el disponer de unas buenas prácticas en materia de igualdad y el beneficio que reporta un buen clima laboral. Como parte de la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC), proporciona una mejora de la imagen exterior de la empresa. Todo ello supone una ventaja competitiva.

The purpose of this work is to carry out a practical study of an Equality Plan (EP) that can serve as a guide for companies in the citric agrarian sector, mainly, as well as for people who are in need of developing said EP. The study was carried out within a fruit company, belonging to the citrus sector, located in the province of Valencia. Where an assessment of your situation has been made, once the previous diagnostic report has been made. The obtained result has been useful for the definition and proposal of the correct actions, on the deviations detected in the matter of equality. The exposition, before the company management, of the need to put into practice an EP has served to show the importance of promoting the business culture within the framework of gender equality, non-discrimination and care for the use of non-sexist language. As well as the elaboration of adequate procedures for action and prevention of sexual harassment and harassment based on sex, beyond the simple fulfillment of a legal imposition. In addition, to respond to what is of great interest to the entity the content of good practices in the field of equality and the benefit of a good working environment. As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), it provides an improvement in the company's external image. All this supposes a competitive advantage.
