Modelos animales en Úlcera Péptica y Pancreatitis

Abstract

Introducción: La úlcera péptica y la pancreatitis son enfermedades relacionadas con el tracto digestivo, en la siguiente revisión bibliográfica se tratará de averiguar cómo los modelos preclínicos pueden ayudar a entender y mejorar nuevos tratamientos o los ya existentes. Objetivo: Dar a conocer sus modelos animales preclínicos empleados en el desarrollo e investigación de nuevos fármacos y estrategias empleadas para combatir dichas patologías. Metodología: Revisión bibliográfica en base de datos Mesh sobre la literatura científica relacionada con los modelos animales empleados en el estudio de la pancreatitis y la úlcera péptica. Resultados: La inducción de las patologías fue implantada con éxito en distintos tipos de roedores, lo que fue comprobado mediante la evaluación bioquímica y fisiopatológica de la enfermedad estudiada. Conclusiones: Los modelos de experimentación animales, son una manera eficaz para el estudio de la úlcera péptica y de la pancreatitis, ya que estos modelos pueden ser extrapolados al humano.
