Cumplimiento y adherencia al tratamiento analgésico en los enfermos ingresados en los servicios de cuidado domiciliario en personas adultas.

Abstract

Objetivo: Conocer la evidencia científica con respecto a las posibles ventajas que ofrece el tratamiento analgésico a los enfermos adultos ingresados en los servicios de cuidado domiciliario. Método: Revisión crítica y sistemática. Los datos se obtuvieron de la consulta a las siguientes bases de datos bibliográficas: MEDLINE (vía PubMed), Embase, Scopus y Web of Science. Los términos utilizados, como descriptores y como texto en los campos de registro del título y el resumen, fueron “Home Care Services”, “Analgesics” y “Treatment Adherence and Compliance”, utilizando los filtros «Humans», «Adult: 19+ years» y «Clinical Trial». Fecha de la búsqueda diciembre de 2019. La calidad documental de los artículos se evaluó mediante el cuestionario CONSORT. Resultados: De las 94 referencias recuperadas, tras depurar las repeticiones y aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, se seleccionaron 3 ensayos clínicos. En todos los artículos se obtuvo un resultado positivo sobre la adherencia al tratamiento analgésico en el domicilio. Conclusiones: Se ha demostrado que al aumentar la adherencia, mediante la cumplimentación de encuestas, diarios de dolor, etc. conseguimos un mayor control del dolor y en definitiva una mejora en la calidad de vida.
