El trabajo y el cuidado de niños y niñas: aproximación a partir de un trabajo de campo

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo viene motivado por la necesidad de visibilizar la importancia del trabajo de cuidados gratuito de niños y niñas. Es imprescindible conocer quién de los progenitores, destina más esfuerzo y trabajo no remunerado al cuidado del hijo/a o hijos/as. Por este motivo, aparte del análisis de estas circunstancias, se investigará si se ha tenido que renunciar a su carrera laboral, si se ha pedido una reducción de jornada laboral o se ha abandonado la trayectoria laboral por el cuidado de niños y niñas. Además, se mostrará el tiempo que se emplea a su cuidado y otros aspectos de suma importancia. Igualmente, veremos si la sociedad piensa si existe desigualdad entre sexos en cuanto al cuidado de los niños
