Abstract

: La alimentación y el estilo de vida están asociados con el aumento de enfermedades crónicas como la enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal. La alteración de la microbiota intestinal es uno de los factores en relación a las alteraciones inmunológicas y patogénicas tanto de la colitis ulcerosa como de la enfermedad de Crohn. En los últimos años, se ha investigado el impacto de diferentes dietas y alimentos en la aparición y curso de estas enfermedades. Sin embargo, la evidencia actual es escasa y se requieren más estudios. Se plantea un ensayo clínico aleatorizado, controlado y abierto en pacientes con enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal, en colitis ulcerosa y enfermedad de Crohn, con sintomatología moderada asignando una dieta baja en FODMAP o una dieta normal durante 8 semanas. Durante su seguimiento se realizarán visitas semanales con determinación analítica (bioquími ca completa, hemograma, hemostasia), calprotectina fecal y estudio de microbiota fecal. Al inicio y al finalizar se rellenarán cuestionarios validados de severidad de síntomas y uno de calidad de vida. El objetivo principal es una reducción de la sintomatología en 50% con objetivo secundario una mejoría de la calidad de vida.
