El transporte por carretera es el sector dedicado al reparto de mercancias o personas desde un punto hacia otro. El presente trabajo está dedicado a los trabajadores pertenecientes a la actividad del transporte por carretera, desde el inicio sus comienzos por las líneas ferroviarias hasta la actualidad, donde la normativa laboral se ha visto alterada debido al avance tecnológico y a que las condiciones de prevención han sido más estrictas durante los últimos años. Concretamente en este trabajo, ante la diversidad de modalidades de transporte que existen, como puede ser conductor de autobús, tren, tranvía, etc… nos centraremos en la profesión de conductor de camiones, transportista, o camionero. Vamos a profundizar de que manera afecta la legislación a la figura de esta profesión y como se encuentra regulado. Haremos una reflexión sobre la conciliación familiar, que como veremos, al tratarse de una profesión en la que es difícil hacer vida familiar observaremos y plantearemos de que forma puede ser más viable. Estudiaremos de que manera es observada la actividad del transporte en camión y analizaremos la figura del empresario y el trabajador.

Road transport is the sector dedicated to the distribution of goods or people from one point to another. This work is dedicated to workers belonging to the activity of road transport, from the beginning its beginnings through rail lines to the present, where labor regulations have been altered due to technological progress since the prevention conditions have been more stringent during the last years. Specifically in this work, given the diversity of transport modes that exist, such as bus driver, train, tram, etc ... we will focus on the profession of truck driver, transporter, etc... We are going to deepen in what way the legislation affects the figure of this profession and how it is regulated. We will reflect on family reconciliation, which as we will see, as it is a profession in which it is difficult to make family life, we will observe and consider what form may be more viable. We will study in what way the activity of transport by truck is observed and we will analyze the figure of the entrepreneur and the worker.
